$90,000•$115,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and proactive Project Engineer to join our fast-paced Construction team. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of construction projects, working closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the smooth and successful completion of construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize your expertise in Civil Sitework to design, develop, and implement construction projects. 2. Review, interpret, and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions. 3. Prepare and submit RFI's in a timely manner and follow up on responses. 4. Manage all aspects of project scheduling, ensuring all milestones are met within the agreed timeline. 5. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within the set financial parameters. 6. Manage materials, ensuring efficient utilization and timely procurement to avoid any project delays. 7. Implement and oversee safety management procedures, ensuring all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations. 8. Handle change orders, ensuring they are accurately documented and effectively communicated to all relevant parties. 9. Liaise with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. 10. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry. 3. Proficient in Civil Sitework, RFI's, construction management, scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, materials management, safety management, and change orders. 4. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues swiftly and effectively. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. 7. Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools. 8. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required. 9. A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of industry safety standards and regulations. 10. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an advantage.
