Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead critical capital projects for a pharmaceutical company based in California. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence strategic decisions in a regulated, high-performance environment. The ideal candidate thrives in complex, fast-paced settings, demonstrating exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and project delivery skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee and drive capital investment projects Direct technology transfer initiatives from concept to operational execution Coordinate and manage multiple projects concurrently Lead interdisciplinary project teams in a regulated cGMP production setting Develop and implement project plans, track progress, manage risks, and oversee project completion, including design, construction, safety, change control, and commissioning activities Ensure projects meet scheduled timelines and budget objectives Report project updates, potential risks, strategies, and financial status to leadership Maintain adherence to internal policies, governance, and compliance standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, with 10+ years of hands-on experience in project management Strong expertise in planning and executing projects, including work breakdown structures, cost estimation, risk assessment, quality compliance, scheduling, and safety management Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leadership and lead multiple, complex project teams Broad cross-functional knowledge to independently solve complex challenges, define approaches, and set priorities Experience in procuring and managing external contractors for design, construction, equipment, and validation services Proficient in project management and engineering software tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, BIM, Procore, and Bluebeam Exceptional communication skills for executive reporting, project proposals, budget requests, and status briefings Proven track record of addressing high-risk, intricate projects with substantial business impact
