Job Overview We are seeking highly skilled and energetic Land Development Civil Engineers to lead complex land development projects from conception through construction. This role offers the opportunity to manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project delivery, and ensure technical excellence in civil infrastructure design and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical proficiency in civil engineering software, and a passion for delivering impactful land development solutions. Duties Lead the planning, design, and management of land development projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet client expectations and deadlines Manage all phases of permitting, including application preparation, submission, and coordination with regulatory agencies Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and Schematics to develop detailed design drawings and technical reports Conduct hydrological modeling using tools like SWMM, HEC-RAS, Hydrologic analysis tools, and GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for stormwater management systems Coordinate construction inspection activities to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications Generate technical engineering reports covering hydrologic analysis, stormwater systems design, water treatment considerations, and land surveying data Lead project teams in managing client communication and presenting project updates effectively Skills Extensive experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a focus on land development Proficiency in project scheduling software and construction management practices Strong command of CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit; familiarity with Bluebeam for document review Expertise in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping applications Skilled in hydrological modeling tools like CivilD, AES, and HEC programs for stormwater system design Knowledge of permitting processes across various jurisdictions during the permitting phase involvement Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality Excellent technical writing skills for producing comprehensive reports and schematics Effective client communication skills to facilitate project success from concept through completion Join us to lead impactful civil engineering projects that shape communities!
