Team:

The Construction Design & Delivery team is at the core of Relativity's growth and development. Through our collaboration and expertise, we deliver projects that lay the foundation for Relativity's future success. In essence, we build the factory that builds the rockets! We are responsible for cross functional relationships with teams such as Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS and Security to name a few, working through design specifications and execution of critical infrastructure projects that supports the mission of work centers. Our relationships don't stop there, working daily with government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors and contractors who support our factory build out. Our team ensures that all projects meet operational requirements, safety and environmental codes, all the while remaining within budget, delivering on time, and to the highest quality as we help to drive production forward. About the

Role:

Lead end-to-end infrastructure project design at the Wormhole factory—from concept development through permit issuance and construction handoff Translate operational requirements into buildable, code-compliant design packages across architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil disciplines Serve as the central point of coordination for stakeholder engagement, consultant management, and cross-functional design integration Drive development of work center layouts in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers and CAD teams to meet equipment, utility, and compliance needs Manage design-phase budgets, soft cost estimates, and change tracking in partnership with project controls and estimating teams Provide construction administration support including submittal reviews, RFI responses, site walks, and punchlist validation to ensure design intent is maintained

About You:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline 5+ years of experience leading capital or infrastructure projects through design, permitting, and construction phases Strong knowledge of building codes, fire/life safety, Title 24, and permitting requirements Proven ability to manage consultant deliverables, coordinate interdisciplinary design reviews, and facilitate stakeholder alignment Proficiency in reviewing construction documents, redlines, and QA/QC deliverables for scope clarity and constructability Organized communicator skilled at producing clear meeting notes, action trackers, and handoff packages for execution teams Nice to haves but not required: PE license or PMP certification Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments or cleanroom infrastructure projects At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
