Overview Seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex public infrastructure projects and serve as a Senior Project Manager / Program Manager for key municipal clients. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage high-visibility, multi-stakeholder projects, including those involving policy sensitivity and public engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex, large-scale public works and CIP projects Serve as Senior Project Manager and client advisor Oversee project teams, including engineers, consultants, and subconsultants Provide technical oversight and quality control for all deliverables Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk Interface with City staff, executive leadership, and elected officials Prepare and deliver presentations to City Councils, Commissions, and Boards Oversee construction support, claims resolution, and contract administration Participate in business development and proposal preparation Develop and implement project management best practices and performance metrics Project Types Major Capital Improvement Programs Multi-agency infrastructure projects Transportation and traffic systems Public facilities and urban infrastructure Complex development and environmental projects Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 5-10+ years of progressively responsible experience California Professional Engineer (PE) license (required) Proven experience managing complex public works projects Traffic Engineer (TE) license (desirable for transportation roles) Core Competencies Advanced project and program management expertise Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to navigate complex regulatory and political environments High-level decision-making and risk management Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills Role Differentiator •This role carries full responsibility for project success, including technical, financial, and client satisfaction outcomes, and plays a key role in firm growth and client relationships.•
