Job Description
Job Summary The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, supervision, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements. Applicants must possess a minimum of six 6 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering and construction project management. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects. Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications. Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and project documentation. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization. Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Coordinate contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. Identify and resolve technical and construction-related challenges. Support project planning, procurement, and contract administration. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Requirements Bachelor's Degree B.Eng./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 6 years' relevant professional experience in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure development. Demonstrated experience in project planning, site supervision, and construction management. Registration with COREN is required. Membership of NSE or other relevant professional bodies is an added advantage. Professional certifications in Project Management, HSE, or related fields will be an advantage.
