Job Description
Who We Are Our Education team partners with K-12 school districts, community colleges, and universities to design and manage transformative programs that align with their goals. We partner with institutions on projects including: Modernization and expansion of facilities Infrastructure improvements for safety and sustainability Development of specialized spaces such as laboratories, research centers, and classrooms.
Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager ensuring that the project stays on time and within budget Responsible for administrative and technical oversight on project site. Responsible for the preparation, editing and/or distribution of project specific project status reports to the owner. Responsible for oversight for adherence to cost and schedule Responsible for identification of work for consistency with plans & specifications and contract documents. Responsible for the preparation and editing of various project documents and reports Develop and distribute timely meeting agendas and minutes Assist with the resolution of project matters/issues. Assist with the management of documentation, document control and filing, meeting agendas and minutes, RFIs, , submittals, change orders, reporting, and progress payments Works under the supervision of the Project/Construction Manager.Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a similar role or position in construction.
- BS/BA Degree in construction, engineering, or architecture. Four years of additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum years stated above may be substituted for the required education.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and SharePoint.
- Experience using BlueBeam and Adobe software for document reviews/mark-ups.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.
- Effectively manage daily work effort.
- Good communication skills verbal and writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Change Orders and Supporting Documentation.
- Previous experience with educational projects.
- Experience working on a large client program;
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Prolog, Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder), Proliance or other PMIS systems.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat sign (formerly Adobe E-Sign).
