SENIOR ENGINEER

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer and project leader looking for an opportunity to make an impact in your community? South Tahoe Public Utility District (STPUD) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead complex, multidisciplinary public works projects and provide leadership to our engineering team.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

Previous engineering leadership and supervisory experience. Experience managing or leading public works projects. Strong project management and project engineering experience. Experience with planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction management, and budgeting. Experience managing consultants and coordinating with staff, agencies, engineers, contractors, businesses, and the public Previous knowledge or experience with water and wastewater treatment plants is highly desirable .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Under general direction, the Senior Engineer performs professional engineering duties as a Project Manager and Project Engineer for complex multidisciplinary public works projects. This position also provides leadership, management, and direct supervision for professional and technical engineering staff.

REQUIRED REGISTRATION

California Civil Engineer registration is required.

Salary:

$144,803.97 - $184,810.63 annually,
