In this role, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing structural designs for a variety of civil and building projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and construction regulations. You will utilize advanced structural analysis tools and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create accurate, efficient, and sustainable designs. Your expertise will help deliver safe, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of resilient structures across various sectors. Duties Develop comprehensive structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, and geotechnical systems using industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Perform detailed structural analysis utilizing tools like Mathcad, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and other structural engineering practices to ensure safety and code compliance. Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local building regulations and standards. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and construction drawings with precision using CAD drafting tools and technical writing skills. Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, architects, and contractors to develop system designs that align with project goals and timelines. Manage project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of design milestones while maintaining quality standards. Review construction documents during project execution to verify adherence to design specifications and safety protocols. Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in developing structural designs for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects with a focus on steel and concrete structures. Strong knowledge of structural analysis tools such as FEA software, Mathcad, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms. Hands-on experience with construction practices, regulations, and building code compliance across various jurisdictions. Demonstrated ability in project management including project scheduling, client communication, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles and GIS applications is a plus. Prior experience in construction environments providing practical insight into system design implementation is highly valued.
