Our diverse portfolio includes pump stations, wells, reservoirs, and cutting-edge water treatment facilities. We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the design and management of water-related projects. Some major responsibilities you're in charge of: Apply extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices across diverse project areas Serve as a technical specialist, staff adviser and consultant to the civil engineering specialty, for any given water/wastewater, land/site development, and/or public works project Undertake complex assignments, pioneering new civil engineering techniques or procedures to enhance project outcomes Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production, codes, and established design standards Direct and perform the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for projects Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California (we're seeking a certified Project Engineer but we also value candidates who possess extensive experience as a designer, capable of performing engineering duties at an advanced level). At least 3-5 years of Project Engineer experience in the field of civil engineering including water, wastewater An expert using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS software programs At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
