Immediate About Petro-Pier Petro-Pier is a deep foundation contractor. We specialize in helical pile systems and foundation solutions for energy, industrial, and commercial construction projects, including battery energy storage (BESS) sites and other critical infrastructure. We handle full-cycle foundation design, engineering, and installation for project sites across the region. The Role Petro-Pier is hiring an experienced (P.E.) to join our team immediately. Candidates should be ready to take ownership of full design packages from the start with minimal training. What You'll Do Develop complete deep foundation design packages (helical piles, driven piles, and related systems) from concept through stamped construction documents Beam Design Perform geotechnical analysis and foundation capacity calculations for project bids and construction Review soil reports and site data to determine the right foundation systems and design parameters Prepare and stamp engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications as engineer of record Coordinate with project managers, field crews, and clients so designs are constructible and stay on schedule and budget Provide engineering input on proposals, including foundation approach, cost, and constructability Make sure all designs meet applicable local, state, and federal codes and industry standards What We're Looking For Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (Colorado license, or ability to get reciprocity, preferred) Proven experience designing deep foundation systems, including helical piles, driven piles, or drilled shafts, for energy, industrial, or commercial projects Able to produce full design packages independently with little oversight Proficiency in LPile, RISA, and AutoCAD required Solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with operations, project management, and field teams Experience with BESS, energy infrastructure, or utility-scale projects is a plus Why Join Petro-Pier Immediate impact on active, high-visibility projects Direct collaboration with an experienced operations and project leadership team Competitive pay based on experience Room to grow with a growing deep foundation contractor
