JOB SUMMARY
Employee to work in field to place sound meters and related sound\vibration\air quality equipment, monitor locations, and prepare formal customer reports. Employee works in office to complete predictive sound models and complete drafting of sales and construction drawings of construction projects. Employees to work with the local Account Manager to attend customer sales meetings as needed for technical support. Employee works in the field to conduct on site studies for both indoor and outdoor operations. Employee to complete on the job training for any and all new skills associated with sound, vibration, and air quality.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to the Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer for daily support for all job duties.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Places sound meters or related sound\vibration equipment. Troubleshoots and maintain sound meters and related sound\vibration equipment. Collects, assimilates, and transfers data from the field to regional offices and company servers. Prepares formal customer reports such as Ambient, Vibration & Continuous\Complaint monitoring reports. Document location status with pictures and other field intelligence. Available for weekend coverage, if needed, on a fixed, rotating basis, or as needed basis based on project load with commensurate time off to offset extra work when needed. Completes predictive sound models utilizing Cadna A software for all regions. Prepares Sales and Construction drawings for region utilizing AutoCAD software. Attending customer sales meetings with the local Account Manager as needed for technical support. Maintains a safe and positive image for the company at all times. Maintains daily work activities reporting and weekly expense reports.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to the Engineering Manager for Asset Management (Sound Level Meters/Technical Equipment)
  • Meter Deployment Logistics
  • Calibration Schedule for meters
  • Meter Equipment Needs (Cables, repairs, antennas, modems, solar panels, etc.)
  • Meter shipments and rotation of equipment Responsible to the Engineering Manager for Predictive Modeling and Drafting Services
  • Sound Impact Assessments or Cadna Models
  • AutoCAD drafting of construction projects.

ANCILLARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and keeps clean company vehicle if provided based on job need. Availability to travel for engineering jobs, in other regions or territories. (Up to 50%) Availability to travel for operations support jobs in other regions or territories, Ex, fabrication work (Up to 25%) Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, related technical discipline, or commensurate career/work experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Self-starter with ability to learn technical material.
PREFERRED
Any and all technical background experience. Experience with noise mitigation. Experience with AutoCAD or related software. Experience in the service industry.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Pay:
$65,000.00
  • $75,000.
