We are seeking a Geotechnical Field Engineer to support field operations and project management teams. The role involves coordinating construction activities, maintaining project documentation, supporting QA/QC, and assisting with scheduling, estimating, and materials management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support field crews with construction activities and interpretation of drawings and specifications. Perform on-site QA/QC, testing, and sampling. Assist with project scheduling, material planning, and subcontractor coordination. Prepare and organize RFIs, submittals, invoices, and other project documentation. Assist with change orders, cost estimates, plan takeoffs, and bid preparation. Manage project materials, equipment, and tooling. Participate in site investigations, project meetings, start-up, and closeout activities. Maintain project records and historical cost information. Travel to various jobsites throughout the United States.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong organizational, communication, mathematical, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. B2W, CAD, and/or Microsoft Project experience is a plus. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Willingness to travel extensively and work in field-based construction environments. Ability to pass background, motor vehicle, and drug screening requirements.
