Job Details We are seeking a seasoned, proactive engineer familiar with Civil 3D, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Stormwater, Septic, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) design. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive site development plans including layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility design. Design and analyze grading and stormwater management systems in compliance with local and state regulations. Develop drainage calculations , stormwater reports, and supporting documentation. Design septic systems and coordinate with environmental health departments for approvals. Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports. Perform site visits for data collection, construction support, and inspections as required. Coordinate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and permitting authorities. Assist with permitting submissions and respond to agency review comments. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in site development / land development engineering.
Strong experience with:
Site planning and layout Grading and earthwork design Stormwater and drainage design Septic system design Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience preparing hydrology and hydraulic calculations. Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations. EIT certification required; PE preferred (or ability to obtain). Preferred Skills Experience with residential and/or commercial land development projects. Familiarity with stormwater modeling software (HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, etc.). Strong communication and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
