Job Description

Project Engineer Build the foundation of your construction career while helping deliver complex projects from start to finish. We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in the successful execution of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional who wants hands‑on exposure to both project management and field operations while learning from experienced industry professionals. As a Project Engineer, you will support all phases of construction—from pre‑construction coordination to project closeout—by organizing information, tracking progress, and ensuring communication flows smoothly between teams. You'll work closely with internal staff, subcontractors, and owner representatives to keep projects moving forward, on schedule, and with high quality standards. What You'll Do Develop a strong working knowledge of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project scope Maintain and update contract document logs to ensure accuracy and compliance Process, track, and distribute submittals and RFIs in a timely manner Attend project meetings and prepare clear meeting minutes, instructions, and action items Support schedule tracking and help ensure planned deadlines are met Assist with coordination of materials, equipment, quality requirements, safety initiatives, and project closeout activities Proactively learn customer goals and look for ways to add value throughout the project lifecycle Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, subcontractors, and owners Develop industry relationships and expand your professional network What You Bring Required Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills Preferred 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry (internships or co‑ops count) Familiarity with Primavera P6 Working knowledge of Trimble or similar construction technology Work Environment & Growth This role is primarily office‑based with exposure to active job sites and collaboration with diverse project teams. You'll work in a business‑casual environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and long‑term career growth within the construction industry. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Danbury, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr. medical, dental, vision, PTO Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Danbury,CT.
