Project Civil Engineer at Pennoni Project Civil Engineer at Pennoni in Milton, Delaware Posted in about 5 hours ago. Pennoni is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Civil Engineer to join our Milton, DE office on a full-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of land development projects while working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings, technical specifications, and construction contract documents. Provide comprehensive civil engineering design services, including site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure design. Support a wide range of project types, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments (single-family and multi-family). Design and coordinate paving, drainage, grading, water, wastewater, and related site improvements. Collaborate effectively within a team-based environment, including mentoring and supporting junior engineering staff. Coordinate and manage communication among internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies. Participate in project marketing, planning, scoping, and proposal development activities. Manage assigned projects from concept through construction, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and permitting requirements. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. Minimum of six (6) years of progressive professional experience in civil engineering, preferably within land development. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Delaware, or the ability to obtain Delaware licensure within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with commercial, retail, and residential land development projects. Prior project management and/or team leadership experience. Proven ability to manage project budgets and maintain project profitability. Proficiency with engineering design software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Why Pennoni?
