Compensation:
$200,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Project Execution & Coordination Support Project Managers in executing capital projects, including lab fit-outs, MEP upgrades, and infrastructure improvements Coordinate all phases of projects from design through construction and closeout Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion Assist in managing multiple concurrent technical projects Technical Engineering Support Review engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals for MEP and specialized systems Coordinate with design engineers to ensure constructability and alignment with field conditions Support commissioning activities and system startup for complex infrastructure Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during construction and post-installation MEP & Lab Systems Coordination Support installation and integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and specialized lab systems (exhaust, redundancy, clean power, etc.) Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, and phasing plans within occupied or operational facilities Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing tenant or facility operations Document Control & Administration Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Maintain accurate logs and ensure timely processing and responses Ensure proper document control and version tracking across all stakeholders Vendor & Contractor Coordination Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure project alignment Assist in bid review and contractor selection processes Monitor contractor performance, schedules, and adherence to scope Cost & Budget Support Assist in tracking project budgets, reviewing invoices, and monitoring cost impacts Support change order evaluation and cost control efforts Contribute to project forecasting and financial reporting Compliance, Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Support the implementation of QA/QC procedures for construction and systems installation Participate in site walks to monitor quality, safety, and progressQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management 5-10+ years of relevant experience Experience in laboratory, life sciences, manufacturing, or mission-critical environments preferred Strong understanding of MEP systems and building infrastructure Experience with active facility projects (renovations, upgrades, occupied spaces) preferredSkills & Competencies:
