We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support heavy industrial construction and manufacturing projects. This position serves as a key technical resource for project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and craft personnel, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, budgets, and schedules. The Project Engineer will support construction planning, RFIs, submittals, change orders, estimating, scheduling, cost control, quantity tracking, material procurement, document control, subcontractor coordination, billing, and project closeout . Responsibilities also include identifying and resolving design conflicts, monitoring project costs and equipment burn rates, maintaining project logs, supporting constructability reviews, and coordinating with clients, engineers, vendors, and field teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent technical training and experience Minimum 3 years of heavy industrial construction, engineering, or manufacturing experience Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, materials, equipment, and construction methods Experience with estimating, scheduling, cost control, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Proficiency with project management and Microsoft Office software Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and clients Must be willing and able to travel and remain at project sites for the duration of assigned projects This is a field-focused opportunity for a Project Engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced heavy industrial construction environment and supporting projects from planning through completion.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
