PURPOSE:

Responsible for ensuring that the facilities, housing various organizations run to their maximum efficiency and output internally as well as externally. This includes preventative maintenance and managing breakdowns and/or installations of equipment to effectively run the facility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment, under close supervision. Maintain and document all assigned work orders, inspections, tool inventories, and special projects. Conduct routine inspections and site rounds to identify faults, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate timely corrective actions. Support annual shutdown activities/inspections and ensure all maintenance activities are completed within established service levels and timelines. Provide support for event setups. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, incidents, and operational disruptions while ensuring minimal impact to occupants and business operations. Perform general building maintenance, and some custodial duties. Repair and/or adjust door hardware. Perform interior and exterior painting; pressure washing. Replace light bulbs/lamps/ballasts Maintain restroom fixtures, such as soap dispensers, flushometer rebuild/replacements, unclog toilets and sinks, as needed. Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned; available for hurricane preparedness and post-hurricane activities. Police landscaping, sidewalks, common area, and parking facilities. Perform leaf blowing/sweeping.
