$60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Job description: About the Role Cameratta Companies is seeking a Civil or Environmental Engineer to support the design, permitting, and construction of large-scale master-planned residential communities in Southwest Florida. You'll work on active land development projects—oversee the earthwork, installation of drainage, utilities, restoration plantings, and other elements of site development —collaborating with in-house teams, outside consultants, and local agencies. Responsibilities Review site development plans, grading, drainage, utility designs, restoration and environmental work Develop and maintain project data and mapping Support stormwater management and environmental permitting through agencies such as ACOE, SFWMD, FDEP, and Lee County Produce construction drawings, exhibits, and technical reports Perform quantity takeoffs, calculations, and design reviews Coordinate with engineering consultants, surveyors, and contractors Track design and permitting progress and support construction administration Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) Strong general computer skills (Microsoft Office / Excel; comfort learning project software) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications EIT/EI certification or PE license (or actively pursuing) (see note below) Experience in land development, site civil, or residential/master-planned projects Familiarity with Florida permitting and stormwater regulations Experience with Hydrology/hydraulics or drainage modeling software Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3
