What You'll Be Doing:

Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures, with a particular emphasis on complex or specialized designs Assume lead role in complex structural design efforts; assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules; QC final work product Oversee project design from conception to completion in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule; coordinate with other disciplines throughout the duration of the project Provide constructability reviews; perform independent peer reviews on project submittals Review contract plans and calculations from other engineering teams and outside entities to verify completion and compliance with governing structural design codes and contract plans and specifications Serves as the Engineer-of-Record for major, minor, and miscellaneous structural designs Communicate high-level concepts effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies Participate in project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors as necessary Take an active role in proposal activities, including write-ups and preliminary and final reviews

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE)

5+ years

Salary Range:
