Key Responsibilities Lead all building engineering, maintenance, and repair operations, including HVAC, BAS, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building systems . Supervise, train, and develop engineering staff while maintaining high performance and service standards. Oversee vendors, contractors, tenant improvements, and capital projects , including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets , purchasing, inventory, and energy management initiatives. Conduct building inspections, maintain equipment and compliance records, and ensure adherence to OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and applicable building codes . Serve as the primary engineering contact for tenants, property management, ownership, and vendors , responding to operational needs and building emergencies. Manage safety programs, including lockout/tagout, PPE, inspections, and staff safety training . Maintain strong documentation, service logs, CMMS records, and preventive maintenance programs. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial building engineering or related trade experience. 5+ years of supervisory experience , including training, performance management, and team development. Advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS, electrical, fire/life safety, and building systems . Strong capital budgeting, energy management, contract administration, troubleshooting, and project management skills. CFC certification and applicable engineering/trade licenses preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CMMS, energy management, and building management systems . Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with tenants, vendors, contractors, ownership, and leadership. Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies, weekends, and holidays as needed. #
CALCON Pay:
