Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer III to support new project initiatives with a primary focus on civil and structural design for power generation and heavy industrial applications. The Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering systems. This individual will apply structural engineering principles and practices to develop solutions across a range of projects, including steel support structures, concrete foundations, equipment foundations, and enclosure designs. The Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, technical staff, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities Perform and review engineering designs and structural analyses for steel structures and reinforced concrete foundations. Collect, review, interpret, and integrate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and engineering teams. Prepare and review engineering technical requirements supporting project proposals and bid strategies. Review customer specifications and prepare technical clarifications, exceptions, and deviations. Prepare and review project budgets, bids, technical requirements, and commercial requirements. Plan and review project deliverable schedules, including engineering documentation and equipment requirements. Work with suppliers and vendors to develop budgets, pricing estimates, and technical solutions. Ensure arrangement drawings and foundation interface information meet project requirements. Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams to ensure structural design interface information is accurate and properly incorporated. Develop corrective actions to reduce nonconformances and improve engineering quality. Represent the organization during technical meetings with customers, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Support civil and structural engineering activities throughout project execution. Complete assigned projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable engineering codes and standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BS) in Civil Engineering required. Minimum 5 years of relevant Civil/Structural engineering experience. Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, including structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
Strong familiarity with:
ASCE 7 IBC AISC 360 ACI 318 OSHA
requirements Applicable industry standards Ability to interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, technical requirements, and structural calculations. Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders. Ability to travel up to 10%. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Experience within power generation or heavy industrial environments is highly desirable.

Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
