) sought by engineering consulting company to perform structural analysis and design for infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform advanced structural analysis, design, and evaluation of structural systems for infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects in compliance with applicable engineering codes and standards. Develop structural calculations, engineering models, and technical design criteria for reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural components using structural analysis and modeling software. Prepare and review structural design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents for foundations, retaining walls, slabs, structural frames, and related systems. Conduct structural condition assessments, inspections, and engineering evaluations of existing structures applying the Risk-Based Inspection Methodology (RBI) to support rehabilitation, retrofit, and repair recommendations. Review and verify structural calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables for quality control and conformance with project requirements and engineering standards. Coordinate structural engineering design efforts with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, drafters, and contractors. Provide engineering support during construction and field operations, including responses to RFIs, review of shop drawings, and resolution of structural design issues. Prepare engineering proposals, reports, technical memoranda, feasibility studies, and rehabilitation recommendations related to structural engineering projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or related. Five (5) years of progressive work experience in structural engineering or a related occupation. Experience in structural engineering projects involving industrial, surface mining and/or hydro-electric facilities. Experience using CAD/BIM, and structural analysis software, such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Enercalc, SAP2000, and RISA, or related. Knowledge of engineering design codes and standards applicable to structural engineering, such as ASCE, ACI, AISC, CSA, Eurocodes, or related. 25% domestic travel, specifically toMiami (Florida), New Orleans(Louisiana ), Los Angeles (California)and Seattle (Washington).
