Job Description

Civil Engineering Intern (EI) - Orlando and Kissimmee Job Summary A rapidly growing civil engineering and land surveying firm is seeking full-time Engineering Interns (EI) licensed in Florida to work in the Orlando and Kissimmee areas under the direction of project managers. The position involves planning, permitting, and designing commercial and residential land development projects in Central Florida. The Engineering Intern will work on various phases of construction site plans and provide permitting assistance with city and county agencies. Additional responsibilities include assisting project managers with due diligence and feasibility reports for properties under consideration. This position may occasionally require travel to client meetings and project sites. Education, Experience and Software Requirements B.S. in Civil Engineering Must have a Florida Engineering Intern (EI) license Proficiency in producing construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D Personal Skills Good listener and team player with a positive attitude Critical thinker who uses logic and reason to solve problems Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Strong verbal and written communication skills Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off with paid holidays 401(k) with employer contribution Long- and short-term disability insurance Life insurance Continuing education opportunities and reimbursement Opportunities for career growth
