Structural Project Engineer

A growing and highly respected structural engineering firm in Port Charlotte, Florida is seeking a Structural Project Engineer for an exciting early-career opportunity with strong mentorship and long-term growth potential. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Project Engineer position include: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; support structural projects from design through construction 0-4 years of structural engineering experience, including internship experience for new graduates; contribute to design and production efforts across multiple project types EIT required or actively pursuing; ideal for someone on the path toward PE licensure Exposure to building design is required; assist with structural systems involving concrete, masonry, structural steel, light gauge steel, and wood Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; help prepare drawings, calculations, and design documents Basic structural analysis experience; support engineering work in compliance with applicable building codes and standards Strong communication and coordination skills; collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and internal team members Ability to assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, site visits, inspections, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Salary :

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
