Civil Engineer -
Land Development Location:
Santa Rosa Beach, FL Schedule:
Full-time, in-office This position is ideal for a civil engineering professional with approximately three to five years of experience who enjoys contributing to large land development projects, including master-planned communities. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience producing construction documents and supporting stormwater analysis. Professional Engineer registration is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Prepare coordinated construction drawings for land development projects Perform roadway, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design Produce plans and technical documents using Civil 3D and AutoCAD Perform or support stormwater modeling, calculations, and report preparation Assist with the planning and design of large-scale developments and master-planned communities Coordinate with engineers, designers, consultants, and other members of multidisciplinary project teams Support permitting efforts and help address client and agency comments Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the design and documentation process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Approximately three to five years of relevant civil engineering experience Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Experience preparing construction drawings for land development projects Knowledge of roadway, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design Experience with stormwater modeling and technical report preparation Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications Engineer Intern certification or Professional Engineer registration Experience working on large land development or master-planned community projects Knowledge of Florida permitting requirements or water management districts Why Consider This Opportunity?
