Structural Engineer / Project Manager - Tampa, FL A well-established structural engineering firm in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated structural engineer looking to advance their career while taking ownership of multiple commercial structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple structural engineering projects from design through completion. Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for commercial projects. Coordinate with clients and project team members throughout the project lifecycle. Provide direction, feedback, and technical support to project team members. Manage project schedules and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met. Communicate project requirements, updates, and technical information to clients. Utilize structural design software to develop and review engineering solutions. Identify and resolve project issues proactively. Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy across all project deliverables.
Qualifications:
5+ years of structural engineering design experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred. P.E. license preferred; EIT candidates will be considered based on experience. Proven project management experience. Experience designing structural engineering projects, preferably commercial. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam . Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent client communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
