Job Description

Position Overview - Stuart, Florida or Fort Myers Beach, Florida We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in construction project management. You'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support both field and office operations, helping ensure projects stay on track, on budget, and aligned with company standards. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Support Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project operations Help coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and office staff Support overall project flow to keep work progressing efficiently Documentation & Reporting Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly project reporting Scheduling & Planning Support project schedules and short-term look-ahead planning Help coordinate upcoming work with field teams and subcontractors Identify potential delays or conflicts and communicate them early Procurement & Coordination Assist with ordering materials and coordinating deliveries Help track subcontractor progress and scope alignment Communicate any material or scheduling issues to the team Quality & Compliance Support quality control efforts to ensure work meets project standards Assist with inspections and documentation Help maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements Financial Support Assist with tracking project costs and budgets Support invoice and pay application review Help monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or graduating soon) Experience Internship or 1-2 years of construction experience preferred (not required) Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Clear communication skills and willingness to learn Basic understanding of construction drawings or strong interest in learning Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with Procore or similar software is a plus (not required) What We Offer Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced construction professionals Opportunity to grow into Project Management or Field Leadership roles Exposure to large-scale infrastructure and treatment plant projects Competitive compensation and benefits
