Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex construction projects. An ideal candidate would have experience in manufacturing facilities (food on particular, but others are still a plus). In this role, you will serve as a vital link between project management, contractors, and clients. Your expertise in civil, mechanical, and system design, combined with your strong project management skills, will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to make a tangible impact on infrastructure development and innovative system solutions. Need to be well versed in reviewing equipment schematics, creating install plans and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft programs to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Prepare and review construction estimates and budgets, utilizing construction estimating software to maintain financial control. Coordinate with design teams to produce accurate schematics, AutoCAD drawings. At least 2D CAD experience is a MUST. Oversee install of equipment using drawings and utility cut sheets. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including reports, specifications, and system schematics for water treatment, wastewater management, or pipeline projects. Support construction inspection processes ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards throughout project phases. Experience Proven experience in project engineering within the construction or civil engineering sectors with a focus on capital manufacturing projects such as equipment changeouts, building modifications, water treatment facilities, or wastewater systems. Strong knowledge of construction management principles combined with hands-on experience in project scheduling tools. Ability to work in a team "environment". Excellent communication skills in technical writing for reports and documentation; ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
