Gosalia Concrete Constructors (GCC) is a growing concrete contractor that specializes in slip formed barriers, cast in place walls, concrete paving and flatwork, concrete joint sealing, and bridge structures. We work as both a subcontractor and a prime contractor in the Southeast. This position will work at the company level, supporting multiple projects and working directly with company management, Project Managers, Superintendents, estimating personnel, field operations, and administrative staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants exposure to the entire construction and company's operations , rather than being assigned exclusively to a single project. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering and project-management support across multiple active heavy civil and highway projects. Help standardize project controls, documentation, and reporting procedures across the company and provide training as required. Track and update high-level company schedule, resource and equipment needs. Assist with equipment and manpower planning across multiple projects. Review contracts, write subcontracts, and issue purchase orders for multiple projects. Review and understand plans, specifications, contracts, and DOT requirements for projects. Assist Project Managers with change orders, change order pricing and pay applications. Assist Project Managers in resolving pay application discrepancies. Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims documentation, and project correspondence. Track and assist with project closeout process for completed jobs. Assist Project Managers, superintendents, and field engineers with job handoff and work plan preparation. Assist company management with project planning, scheduling, production, and cost analysis. Assist with monthly project reviews, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis. Develop and maintain company-level tracking reports for project performance. Travel to active projects as needed to develop an understanding of the projects and identify where assistance is needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Self Motivated, organized and technically capable. 5+ years of Heavy highway/heavy civil construction experience preferred. Experience with DOT construction projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, quantities, and contracts Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and analytical skills Experience with Viewpoint is a plus. Experience with estimating, scheduling, project-management, or cost-control software Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with both company executives and field personnel
