  • Job Description:
  • Parsons is now hiring a
  • Senior-level Bridge Engineer
  • with a desire to work on bridge projects for roadway and interstate systems in the State of Georgia and the surrounding region.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on various bridge engineering and design projects, ranging from mid to large design and design-build projects. These projects may include suspension, cable-stayed, arch, truss, cantilever, beam girder bridges - both steel and concrete.
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Assure that the bridges are designed in accordance with approved Federal, State, and local agency requirements as well as
AASHTO LRFD
Bridge Design Specifications, practices, and procedures. + Deliverables may include structural designs for single span, multiple spans, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, precast concrete, and steel bridges. + Provide structural specifications, estimating, quantity calculations, technical reports, and detailed engineering analyses. + Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. + Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. + Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. + Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. + May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances. + Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • + Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field +
  • 10 years or more
  • of design, design-build or alternative project delivery experience on bridge highway infrastructure. +

Salary Range:
