Job Description Job Description Job Description The Building Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of an industrial facility. Acting primarily as a solo engineer within a small team, this role demands hands-on expertise in equipment inspection, system troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The Building Engineer will utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and coordinate with vendors to uphold safety and security standards. Occasional on-call duties are expected to address emergency repairs promptly. Responsibilities Perform facility maintenance and equipment inspections Troubleshoot and resolve technical system issues Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime Respond to emergency repair requests as needed Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services Maintain accurate documentation using CMMS Monitor building operations and provide technical support Must be a US Citizen Must be able to pass federal background check
