Job Description

Project Engineer - Mechanical Construction Seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support mechanical construction projects and work alongside experienced Project Managers, with the opportunity to develop into a Project Manager role .
Key Responsibilities:
Support PMs with day-to-day project coordination and documentation Manage and track RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project logs Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Assist with estimating, change-order pricing, and procurement Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, GCs, engineers, and project teams Maintain project management systems and ensure accurate documentation Assist with AHAs, safety documentation, O&M manuals, warranties, and project closeout Support subcontractor coordination, including controls and seismic scopes
Qualifications:
Construction or mechanical/MEP experience preferred Strong interest in developing into Project Management Ability to read plans and specifications Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, Word, and Outlook For additional information on this opportunity, please contact Jamie Tomczyk directly at 605-705-2896.
