full-time Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineer for a local engineering firm in Northeast Iowa. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of municipal and civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions while building strong client relationships. Responsibilities Assist with project planning, design, and development for municipal and civil engineering projects Prepare construction plans, specifications, reports, and other project documentation Oversee construction projects to ensure work is completed according to project requirements Serve as a point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle Maintain accurate project records while managing schedules and deadlines Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Municipal, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Experience in the civil engineering field preferred Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar design software Strong written and verbal communication skills Goal-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain clear, accurate project records and documentation
