LCE2501 Licensed Civil Engineer East St. Louis, Hillsboro, Springfield, IL or Nashville, TN Hurst-Rosche has an opportunity for a Licensed Civil Engineer based out of our East St. Louis, Hillsboro, Springfield, IL or Nashville, TN office. We are an integrated design firm that unites a dynamic team of architects, engineers, surveyors, and industry specialists driven to help solve our clients' greatest challenges.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Manage technical and support staff in the development of various projects.
• Planning and design of roadway, site development and stormwater projects
• Preparation of Phase I project documents
• Preparation of Phase II plans, specifications, and estimates
• Preparation of engineering reports, drainage studies, safety studies, and other project related documents
• Familiarity with DOT design policy manuals, DOT submittal, and permitting requirements
• Interact with staff members in other disciplines.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
• Interact with our public and private clients.

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Professional Licensure is required in the State of Illinois
• A minimum of 5 years' experience is preferred with an emphasis on roadway and transportation related projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation/Geopak/Open Roads Designer preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Drainage design experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Project may require physical inspection of the project site.

Salary Range:
