  • Position Overview We are seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to support the planning, analysis, and design of transportation structures for public infrastructure projects.
This role will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to project delivery, and provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality engineering solutions for transportation clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare structural analyses, calculations, design documents, and specifications for bridge and transportation infrastructure projects in accordance with applicable state and federal standards. Collaborate with engineering professionals across multiple disciplines to develop solutions for complex project challenges. Perform engineering tasks independently or as a task lead while adhering to project budgets and schedules. Support project managers with scope development, fee estimates, qualifications packages, and proposal preparation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members. Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Participate in occasional field investigations, inspections, and site visits in outdoor and construction environments. Attend client meetings and travel periodically as project needs require. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree with a structural emphasis preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, EIT required Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience delivering transportation infrastructure projects for public-sector clients. Familiarity with state DOT standards, specifications, design manuals, and federally funded project requirements. Proficiency with structural analysis and bridge design software such as LEAP, MDX, MIDAS, AASHTOWare, or similar tools. MicroStation experience preferred. Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
