Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Bilingual Structural Engineer (Mandarin/English) to support structural engineering and construction activities for industrial projects. This role will focus on drawing review, field coordination, structural installation, constructability, technical issue resolution, and communication between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking project teams. Responsibilities Review structural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals. Support construction of structural steel, concrete foundations, equipment platforms, and structural supports. Coordinate structural work with HVAC, electrical, piping, architectural, and equipment teams. Review field conditions and identify structural, design, or constructability issues. Support resolution of RFIs, field changes, and technical issues. Coordinate structural subcontractors, fabricators, and suppliers. Perform field inspections and verify construction against approved drawings and specifications. Review anchor bolts, embeds, equipment foundations, structural supports, and penetrations. Track structural construction progress and punch list items. Assist with as-built documentation, inspections, and project turnover. Communicate structural and construction-related technical information in both Mandarin and English. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of structural engineering, construction, or industrial project experience preferred. Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Ability to communicate engineering and construction-related issues clearly in both languages. Ability to read structural drawings and construction documents. Familiarity with structural steel, concrete, foundations, supports, and equipment structures. Industrial or manufacturing construction experience preferred. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Bluebeam, or Navisworks is a plus. EIT or PE license is a plus but not required.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:
