•70 per hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support a large-scale construction project in Wheatfield, Indiana. This position will work closely with the construction management and project team to support field execution, project controls, contract administration, cost management, scheduling, quality, and coordination across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a General Contractor on heavy industrial or power-related construction projects and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the construction management team with day-to-day field and project activities. Monitor contractor performance, scope, cost, schedule, quality, and contract compliance. Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements. Inspect construction activities to ensure work conforms to approved plans, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, owners, and internal project teams. Assist with submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, NCRs, and technical documentation. Maintain and update project schedules in coordination with the Construction Manager and Project Scheduler. Track project costs, quantities, productivity, and production budgets. Review and support progress billings, invoices, job costs, and cash-flow projections. Assist with change orders, claims, pricing, and other commercial activities. Support monthly project cost and forecast reporting. Assist with quality control procedures, audits, corrective actions, and compliance documentation. Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders regarding quality and project requirements. Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action-item logs, and project correspondence. Assist with project-control activities, executive updates, logistics, procurement, and material tracking. Maintain accurate project documentation and correspondence files. Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager with additional project activities as required. Work onsite a minimum of five days per week and support fluctu
