Position Overview The Construction Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects while ensuring they align with the company's objectives. This role will work under an experienced Project Manager. The Construction Engineer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects by assisting with timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and team communication. This role involves tracking project progress, monitoring performance metrics, supporting scope and cost management, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with organizational objectives. Responsibilities Assist in the development and management of project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Support team management by coordinating tasks and ensuring effective communication among team members. Utilize project management software to track progress and report on project status. Implement earned value management techniques to assess project performance against established metrics. Conduct scope management to define project boundaries and deliverables clearly. Participate in process mapping to identify areas for improvement within project workflows. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. Monitor cost control measures to keep projects within budget constraints. Contribute to the application of project management methodologies for consistent delivery of projects. Requirements Prior experience working on Industrial Construction projects. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on teamwork. Proficiency in project portfolio management tools, including Smartsheet. Knowledge of earned value management principles for effective performance tracking. Familiarity with various project management software platforms. Understanding of scope management techniques to define and control project limits. Experience with project management methodologies that enhance workflow efficiency. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for process mapping initiatives. Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. Salary Range:
