Job Summary This role requires a skilled and motivated Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in providing administrative, coordination, and field support throughout all project phases. Strong expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while adhering to the company's standard operating policies and procedures. This position requires passion, dedication, accountability, and a strong desire to learn.
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
Drafting and submitting reports to superiors and other key individuals. Assist Project Managers in reviewing construction documents. Review and approve submittals. ProCore data entry. Compile AIA pay applications and assorted documents.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems, improve project efficiency, mitigate risk, encourage business growth, and enhance and sustain relations with clients.
- Application of problem-solving skills to support Requests for Information (RFI's) effectively, Participate and monitor in project closeout activities, including obtaining warranties and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manual documents.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Project Engineer Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in construction science or relevant to our industry, preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a field-related role or internship, preferred Excellent problem-solving skills that are supported by solid technical knowledge. Prior experience with construction-based software programs, Procore preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Technically savvy and computer literate with Google, Microsoft Project suite, AI platforms, supported by demonstrated skill set Strong multitasking abilities. Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner. Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirement:
- Ability to work in both an office and field setting
- If on-site at a job, must be able to traverse the worksite in different types of weather.
- Requires bending, reaching, climbing to support inspections.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
