Job Description

A specialized structural engineering firm focused on the assessment and rehabilitation of existing structures is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer for the DC-Maryland-Virginia region.
Salary:
$110,000
  • 140,000 (commensurate with experience) What you'll do:
  • Perform structural condition assessments and investigations of existing buildings, garages, facades, and plazas
  • Design structural repairs and rehabilitation: concrete restoration, post-tension repair, waterproofing-adjacent structural work, facade and balcony repair
  • Produce repair documents, details, and specifications; support bidding and construction administration
  • Conduct site visits, punch lists, and contractor coordination through project closeout
  • Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple concurrent projects What you bring:
  • P.E. license (MD, DC, or VA; multiple a plus)
  • Structural engineering experience with existing buildings: assessment, repair, and restoration strongly preferred
  • Ability to run projects client-facing from proposal through closeout
