Job Description

Job Summary The Civil Engineer will lead the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects while supporting Project Managers, Client Managers, and the design team. This position involves working on a variety of public infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction administration. Key Responsibilities Lead the design of municipal water, wastewater, sanitary sewer, stormwater drainage, and roadway infrastructure projects. Prepare engineering studies, preliminary and final designs, construction drawings, specifications, and permitting documents. Coordinate with engineers, designers, surveyors, and technicians to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Administer construction contracts, including reviewing shop drawings, submittals, pay applications, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards and regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 5 15 years of relevant civil engineering experience. Strong experience with municipal water, wastewater, sanitary sewer, stormwater drainage, and transportation infrastructure projects. Experience working with municipal funding agencies, permitting processes, and construction oversight. Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, engineering scopes, and work plans. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills.
