Project Manager, Practice Leader, or Principal Position Summary:
Lord and Winter, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support environmental compliance, due diligence, investigation, remediation, and stormwater projects. This position combines technical engineering, field coordination, data evaluation, regulatory compliance, report preparation, and project management support.
Responsibilities:
Prepare stormwater design plans, calculations, details, and supporting documentation. Support stormwater permitting, inspections, sampling, and compliance reporting. Assist with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Coordinate environmental sampling, fieldwork, laboratories, subcontractors, and vendors. Support remediation, UST, NPDES, and air-permit compliance projects. Prepare technical reports, figures, tables, permit documents, and regulatory submittals. Track project schedules, budgets, permit conditions, and reporting deadlines. Maintain accurate field notes, project files, and closeout documentation. Follow company quality-control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, geological, or a related engineering discipline. Experience with stormwater design, drainage calculations, or civil site plans preferred. Environmental consulting, engineering, permitting, compliance, or field experience preferred. Engineer-in-Training certification preferred. Strong technical writing, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
