About The Role:
Loucks is seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team. This entry-level role provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to meaningful projects that shape our communities. You will gain hands‑on experience in design, analysis, and project delivery while developing the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize engineering software (AutoCAD/ Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Bluebeam, etc.) to analyze, design, and produce project deliverables, including site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater management designs. Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and deadlines. Solve engineering challenges and contribute to innovative project solutions. Facilitate the land entitlement process including regulatory research and compliance, applications, meetings, and permitting coordination. Participate in multi-discipline project meetings, client coordination, and occasional site visits. Perform quality control (QC) reviews of plans, calculations, and reports. Support construction administration activities including responding to contractor questions, conducting onsite field inspections, attending contractor meetings, and performing shop drawing reviews.
What You Will Gain:

Training in industry software such as: AutoCAD Civil 3D Bluebeam Excel and data analysis tools HydroCAD and related hydraulic design software
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET‑accredited preferred). 0-2+ years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and software tools. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Self-motivated individual looking to learn and contribute in a professional environment. Preferred (Not Required)
Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software. Internship or co‑op experience in land development. FE/EIT certification or progress toward obtaining it.
