Structural Engineer 1 (or higher)

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)

EXPERIENCE

0+ Years, prior internship experience preferred

LICENSURE

EI license preferred, required with 6 months of hire

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Structural Engineering Analysis and Design:

Steel, concrete, masonry. conventional wood, heavy timber and log design; Analysis and design of gravity and lateral force resisting systems; Design and analysis of residential, commercial, and specialty engineering projects; Structural modifications of existing structures Computer Aided Drafting with AutoCAD and Revit Structural analysis utilizing Visual Analysis, Shape Builder, Enercalc, Brass, Forte, Erikkson Preparation of construction documents and specifications Assist with engineering proposals On-site field engineering for design and construction Prepare Engineer Reports and concept plans Ability to work in a safe manner and in a team environment Ability to work in all weather conditions Communicate with design consultants, clients and contractors in a professional environment

REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office is preferred Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to excel in both individual and team environments Strong professional image, integrity and commitment to excellence Detail oriented Satisfactory background check Must have a valid driving license and insurable driving record Pass drug screenings requirements

COMPENSATION

Wage is dependent on experience and qualifications. Benefit package includes Health, Vision & Dental programs, 401K, paid time off & standard holidays.
