A Civil Engineer designs and supervises large construction projects such as public buildings, roads, and waterways. Designs projects that meet the needs of users and the public and are structurally sound. Addresses environmental and land use issues in project design. May specialize in a particular aspect of design and construction, or a particular type of construction, such as transportation systems.
We are seeking a Staff Engineering Technician to support site development efforts for water and industrial water infrastructure projects. Our team is looking for someone who can help develop high-quality engineering deliverables, apply established design practices, and contribute to multidisciplinary project work that supports critical infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and modify site development plans using industry-standard design tools. Support grading, drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities design efforts. Review design inputs, assist with deliverable quality, and help ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Prepare design calculations, material quantities, estimates, and related technical documentation while coordinating with project team members.
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Experience with Civil 3D grading. Autodesk Civil 3D experience required. Must be located within 50 miles of one of the listed office locations: Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; or Jacksonville, FL.
