This role is flexible on level, ranging from a senior designer to a project manager, depending on the candidate's background, and offers real room to grow as the company expands.
Responsibilities:
Lead or contribute to the preparation of site, utility, and grading plans across all phases of a project Develop utility layouts, grading plans, and storm drainage designs using Civil 3D Set up and manage construction drawing plan sets, incorporating redlines and maintaining accurate documentation Coordinate with regulatory agencies to resolve review comments and keep projects moving forward Manage day to day project execution, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams Support project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning as project responsibilities grow Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company on occasional site visits
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related field Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field EI certification required; PE license a plus for more senior-level candidates
