Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineering student or recent graduate to work part-time on real-world residential, commercial and mixed-use development projects throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We are specifically looking for someone who can take a property or existing survey/site plan and develop preliminary conceptual layouts to quickly evaluate its development potential.
Projects include:
Multifamily apartments and condominiums Residential subdivisions and townhouse developments Mixed-use developments Commercial and retail projects Gas stations and convenience stores Restaurants and drive-thrus Redevelopment of existing properties Preliminary parking, access, circulation and site layouts
Ideal Candidate:
Currently studying Civil Engineering, Land Development or a related field — recent graduates also considered Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D strongly preferred Ability to read surveys, existing conditions plans and zoning requirements Interested in site design, permitting and real estate development Creative problem solver who can look at a parcel and help determine what can realistically fit on the siteThis is not a typical classroom internship. You will work directly with an experienced real estate developer on active projects and potential acquisitions and see how projects move from initial concept through engineering, permitting and development.
Location:
Massachusetts / New Hampshire — remote and hybrid possibilities depending on experience
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
