Job Description
Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager KSI Professional Engineers is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing team. KSI performs structural engineering for variety of interesting building projects throughout the northeast including commercial and residential new construction, mixed use projects, renovations/additions, adaptive reuse and historic structures. We have an immediate opening for an experienced building structural engineer/ project manager. We are a mid-sized structural engineering firm and are looking to expand our capacity to meet our clients' needs and our continued growth. We have KSI offices located in Verona and Farmingdale NJ. This job posting is for the Farmingdale, NJ office. Responsibilities Design and detailing of building structures to include steel, concrete, wood, masonry and deep foundation systems. Collaborate with in-house drafting team for drawing production Perform site visits to document existing structures and write reports Manage projects, staffing, budgets and write proposals Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 5+ years experience in structural design of buildings. Engineer in Training Certification required. Professional Engineering License preferred. Proficiency in structural design software including RAM Products (Structural System and Elements) Knowledge of all applicable building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, NDS, etc.) Compensation Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Fully funded family healthcare Paid time off (Vacation, sick and holiday) 401k program with company contributions Opportunity for performance bonuses
